First post

So I saw some boxer shorts hanging from a fencepost one day while I was walking through west broadway, and it occurred to me that I probably should have taken a picture. Sadly, they were gone the next day, but the seed was planted. A blogger account and a clever name later, clothes on the peg is born.

The aim here is to document the presence of clothing laying on (or next to or above) the streets of Winnipeg and speculate wildly about how it got there. Feel free to send your own pictures in, along with some backstory, if you care to.

To begin, a brassiere. Found on sherbrook street, north of broadway.

I am gonna go ahead and say that this bra is on the sidewalk because it was a size too small for it's original owner. They were tired of the wires digging and cutting their skin that they said "fuck it!" and tossed that bastard into the nearest puddle. This probably occurred at 2:30am on a Saturday when everyone was good and sloshed that the orphaned bra's owner got cheers and applause for the act.
